Privacy Policy
BulkDL is designed for public TikTok links and profile pages. This page explains what data the site processes and the third-party services involved.
1. What this policy covers
This policy describes the data processed when you browse BulkDL, submit a public TikTok link or username, use the contact form, or interact with the site's analytics and interface settings.
2. Public TikTok links submitted to the service
When you submit a public TikTok URL, short link, profile URL, or supported username, that input is sent to BulkDL server routes so the site can request available public post data and download options. Submitted public links may also be forwarded to configured parsing providers used by the backend.
3. TikTok credentials and restricted content
BulkDL does not request your TikTok password, cookies, or login session. The site is intended for public TikTok content only and is not designed to unlock private or restricted content.
4. Cookies and local storage
Necessary storage supports core interface behavior, including language and privacy preferences. Analytics storage is optional and is used only after the relevant choice is allowed. Advertising and personalization storage remain optional and are not enabled after a user rejects them. These categories can be reviewed through Privacy Choices in the footer.
5. Analytics and infrastructure services
BulkDL currently loads Google Analytics 4 to measure page views, devices, browsers, general geography, and basic engagement events. BulkDL is also served through standard web infrastructure that may include reverse proxy, CDN, caching, and security layers such as Cloudflare or equivalent hosting services, depending on the active deployment configuration.
6. Server and security logs
The hosting stack and application may log request metadata such as IP address, user agent, path, timestamp, status details, and sanitized error messages for security review, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention. PM2 application logs on the current production server are rotated daily and retained for up to 14 days.
7. Contact form submissions
If you submit the contact form, BulkDL stores the request type, name, email address, page URL, TikTok URL, message, timestamp, and request metadata needed for manual review and abuse handling. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 30 days and older entries are pruned.
8. Temporary processing and cached files
Current app routes process submitted public links in request memory and return response data without intentionally creating a persistent media-file cache. The current application code does not create a persistent temporary media library for downloaded TikTok files on the site server.
9. Future advertising services
BulkDL may use Google AdSense after approval and configuration, and may use other advertising partners to display advertisements. Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. When permitted by the user's consent choices and applicable law, advertising cookies may be used to show ads based on previous visits to this website or other websites. Users may manage personalized advertising through Google's advertising settings and through the Privacy Choices controls available on BulkDL.
10. Consent choices
Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland may be asked to make consent choices before certain advertising or analytics technologies are used. Users can reopen the privacy settings at any time through the Privacy Choices control in the website footer, change Analytics or Advertising choices, reject optional storage, and save the updated selection.
